tis the end of this category i think. will be replaced with another review/verdict category called ‘tell it like it is’ (unless i get bored of that or someone think of something better).
i’ve wanted to move away from onewordreviews since i heard them doing the same thing on radio 1 a while ago. and having recently watched ‘the american’ now is as good a time as any. i’ve been busting to call it names since last week.
should have been called paranoid action-blacksmith. zzzfest.
it’s been a while since i’ve posted and to be honest, i need to purge the growing list. i’m not going to link every poster that’s for sure, but will do imdb. here goes…

cheers, my logitech mx mouse’s one touch search button (highlight a word, click the button and it opens a new tab with google search results). made this way easier.
breaking norm for this one. i can’t really praise this play enough. i’ve seen only a few plays over the years (count on one hand) but this was one of those “ohhhh, that’s why people like theatre” experiences.
it was fucking amazing. 1:45mins, no interval and small cast (about 10 in total). mark rylance was so funny and i can’t actually think of anything wrong with his performance. lumley was weakest but she only had a few lines compared to rylance and niles.
tickets were £75, we had good seats (dress circle) and i really hope they record it for dvd release so i can see it a few more times.
